About

bodyshotI am a marketing technology leader focused on solving real issues, not the stated problem. What makes my approach different is that I think like a consultant in that I will evaluate the people, processes, and technologies both in place and desired but without the need for standardized, exhaustive workshops to get there. My assessments are clear, concise, and actionable which means that you will know exactly when and how you can expect to see results.

I am currently the Vice President of Engineering at Penn Foster overseeing all aspects of their application and systems development. I am not a developer by trade yet that has never impacted my ability to dig in and deliver high quality, technical implementations. In fact, my biggest advocates are developers and architects as we partner to translate big picture business needs into scalable solutions without sacrificing the customer experience. I reject the notion of  being “non-technical” in a world where technology is core to our everyday lives.

I have not taken a typical path to get here and my 18 years of experience in business process improvement, program management, and end-to-end solution management have been one heck of a ride. While I have spent the past 4 years in education technology, I previously supported the Multi-Channel Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Telecom, and Pharma verticals. While each group had their own unique set of challenges, I was able to help them deliver technology solutions that met their current needs while allowing them to grow into additional functionality offered or planned in their roadmap.

Just prior to joining Penn Foster, I was Senior Director of Customer Experience and Product Management at eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions focused on next generation platform product strategy, planning, and execution. I have been fortunate to have worked for some of the best agencies in the world and followed great leaders to their new adventures, including the unexpected move into education technology where I find myself today.

I am proud to say that I am a Hoosier as I hold a B.S. in Marketing and Operations Management from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business. My schooling brought me to the Midwest where I lived for many years before making the move back to the East Coast. I currently live in Boston, Massachusetts with my husband, our amazing daughter, and the family pup. Given all that I have accomplished in my career, being a mom is still my greatest accomplishment.
